Fresh from helping our ‘A’ Team to its 4½-½ win over Copperworks, Robert Moneagle today shared 1st prize in the Under 145 section of the York Rapidplay 6-round competition. He scored 4 wins and 2 draws.
The event, organised by Peter Cloudsdale, was held at the Middlethorpe Hall Hotel in York,
Limewood was well represented in this numbers-limited tournament with Tom Leah, Paul Johnson and Paul May taking part in the upper section and Paul Masiak and Howard Brears in addition to Robert in the lower section.
