As well as the Club Blitz evening on 31 May and our summer Clubnights there are two more dates you might like to note in June/July:
~ Monday 5 June: Leeds Chess Association AGM, 7pm at The Eagle, 122 North Street, Leeds. There’s free nosh to accompany the entertainment.
~ Friday – Sun, 21-23 July: Leeds Chess Congress, held at the Wellington Hill Residents Association centre, Ringwood Drive (just off Leeds Ring Road A6120 near the A58 Wetherby Road). This is the event’s 6th year. It is a friendly and relatively informal event and has the great advantage for Limewood members of being very local. Chess congresses don’t come any handier than this!
