Today we introduce a new feature: our ‘Open Blog’.
This is where Members can contribute their thoughts on anything to do with the club or chess generally. For example, if you go to a weekend congress you can tell us about it. Experienced members might like to share some of their expertise. Less experienced members might like to talk about their first forays into “serious” chess. You can also comment (politely) in response to other members’ contributions.
All contributions can be viewed by anyone visiting the site.
We kick off with the first of several blogs by Chris Tatham talking about the lessons he has learned from his first year in club chess.
For practical and technical reasons we cannot (yet) offer the facility of letting members upload their blog contributions direct.
