Our second Mini team had an easy first match. Their scheduled opponents, Moortown M2, obviously got frit at the thought of playing them and decided to go and join the Rapidplay league instead.
Our first team didn’t do so well. Paul managed to scrape a draw from an incredibly long game but that was all. Our half-share of the handicap points made the score look a little better: we only lost by 1½ to 3½.
