Steve's first win!

This was Steve's first win in League competition and so a memorable occasion.

In the event he had no great difficulty in disposing of his opponent. By move 8 he had taken a rook and 2 pawns in exchange for a knight and had thoroughly disrupted Black's kingside.

By move 20 he had captured 5 Black pawns while still having his own complete set barely disturbed.

The end was a very neat checkmate which his opponent clearly did not see coming.
