Seven Limewood members were playing in the 3rd round of the Ellis and Appleby competitions tonight.
There was a hard-fought win for Philip May (96) against Dale Cullum (120) in one of the longest games of the evening. This brings Philip’s score to 2 from the 3 rounds. And there was a win too in another long and tough game for Chris Tatham. Sadly that had to be at the expense of another Limey, Phil Higgins in a re-run of their League encounter (Team B v Team C) only 2 weeks ago.
There was also a notable result from David Halpin who overcame a grade deficit of around 60 points to gain a draw against Ivor Timmis.
