After the excitement of last week’s scrum with Alwoodley and Rose Forgrove and of the National Clubs Championships it was back to an ordinary clubnight this evening. Some members must have been out celebrating the re-opening of pubs after lockdown as numbers were down a bit. But we still had a 3-round online contest with 25 minutes apiece on the clock.
John Light hit our online Honours Board for the first time. He scored 2 wins and a draw. His draw came from his game against the formidable Kevin Plaxton – a real achievement. Kevin himself also scored 2 wins and a draw while Paul May took 3rd place with 2 wins.

Wed 29 July – Limewood v Rolls Royce Rematch. Note time: 8 pm
Wed 5 August – Limewood v Alwoodley v Rose Forgrove Team Battle on LiChess (to be confirmed).
Wed 19 August – Night of the New Moon. Which members won’t be allowed out?
